What would the average price be to powdercoat the valve cover anyone kow?

depends where you go, and if you prep teh vavle cover, or if you have the shop do it. I've seen it as low as $30 and as high as $150+, just depends. I personally probably wouldn't spend over $50, but that's me, and I'll probably try and prep it myself to save a couple dollars, as I'm going to have a spare Nissan VC here in a week or so that i can practice on, before I powdercoat my infiniti one :D

i have two valve covers one is balck powered coated and one is sand blasted also both are for sale

what do you need to do to prep it? and what do you use to powdercoat it?

For the prepping I'm not 100% sure the entire process yet. I'm still trying to figure out what's teh best way to prep something prior to powdercoating.
For the powdercoating process, it's my understanding you have the powdercoating kit. spray the part with the powder (whatever color you want/have), then you heat it up in an oven to a specific temp, for a specific amount of time, then i think there is a cooling period too, but i'm not positive. There may be other steps i missed, i'm not sure. that is why i'm having someone else do this.
