I recommend that you replace your rear springs with the heavy duty leafs out of the 4wd catalog. I put them in my 89 and have no problem with carring a load, or sacrifice ride. If you want a little lift then look at a couple of budget lifts, by various manufactures, I would go with a 2" using rear shackles and spacers up front, or springs. Also recommend replacing your bushings with the polyurethane bushings, mine were toast. If you go with a lift you'll either have to get new shocks or do the weld thing, I would personally opt for the new shocks and sell the others on Ebay.:2cents:

im got allready rear rear springs with poliurethane bushings, 7 leafs per side(5 +2 helper leafs)whitch was oryginally configured by 'ironman', will think about new shocks but i really would like to try 'cut and weld' method, and what about bumpers-do i really need to lower them too-or need them at all????/thanks
