Resin 70's Custom Corvette StingRay Kit.

Well I have bean asked if I would sale some resin copys of my move car kit. At first I thought I could do it well but after a lot of faled trys I just gave up on the kit. Till recent guys asking me about the kit. So I told them that I'm not a pro at casting and I have some goofs or mistacks. An I thought that would be that but soe still wanted the kit, so I casted some kit and tryed to fix the pits and holes and show the work on the kits parts to the guys tah wanted them. A :lol2: lot of them said that they would pass on the kit and some said to "crap" and I think so to. This kit is a :loser: and once I get better at casting the kit then and only then I should try to sale it. Well any way here some of that work on my first full body cast (Remember I'm not a pro at this) I still thing this kit sucks:eek7: :loser:

I had to fill in the scoop vint to fix them. [Left side]:

Now on the body my first cast was a bit solft and then I got it to come out well but with a lot of missing edges that need to be fixed.

2nd Cast came out a lot better but needed some fixies.

This is a shot of all the othere parts that I wanted in the kit. List 2 bucket seat, 1 Right hand dash, 2 head Lights baskets,2 Lower Flood Lights, 4 Wheels. But after getting a guys E-mail that the wheels are still under Copy Right by Revell they had to go.

To me after looking over the kit I was under a rush to build the kit and make parts. From talking to otheres that make kits to make in to resin kit tell me that first I should have never agreed to make the kit till I worked out the bugs. It's a good Idea just to rushed so I ask you all to look at my kit as it is now and ask your self would you buy this kit as it stands.

So what I'm going to do as I fix this kit, I'm going to post all my work for you all to see and talk about if. If any of you have bad comments Please feel free to post them as I have a lot that I would say about this kit but I think I would get kicked out If I said what I feel. LOL!! [Remember what model started this hold thing]

Looks great to me too ! Anyone who has worked with resin knows that it is never perfect and always requires a little work to look it's best. Count me in for at least two ! I'll take it even if it's not perfected yet !!

I think they're pretty damned good! I'm not big on Corvettes but That's a nice-looking resin project! :sunglasse
