ECM troubles

My ecm is not getting power or sending output. Is there a way to test the ecm and check to see if it is getting power?

There's a circuit comin' through the in-dash fuse panel that feeds the ECM. It should be labeled 'ECM'. I think it's fuse #32 or #33.

there's some pics of my PCM with backprobes, for testing, along with some schematics, which I'm sure are identical for any GM. (circuit #'s anyway). I can't link the pics since I'm banned, so you're gonna' have to register to see the backprobe pics.

I noticed that there is some kind of coil or something wiring into the pink/black wire going into the ecm harness. Does anyone know what that is?

Might be a knock sensor module. My '94 GM has one. There's also pics of THAT in the link that I posted.
Did you see the pics? A major portion of that thread is devoted to PCM diagnostics.
