Want to put video/game system in passenger van - available plans/schematics/ideas?

Basically I want to install a video system in a multipassenger van.

I would like to have two flip down monitor screens which can play DVD and a game system (currently we have XBOX - not 360 in the home).

I would like for both screens to be kind of independant of each other but also be able to view whatever is on the other.
For example, I will call mid cabin monitor "A" and rear cabin monitor "B"

I would like A and B to both watch same DVD, but if desired let B use game system while A is on DVD.

And reverse, have B doing DVD while A is on game.
Or have both viewing the game system.

Could one DVD player and game system accomplish this?

Is there anywhere online that may have wiring layouts/schematics/plans for this type of thing...like on Instructables or something?

Also, what mods would be need to be done, if any, to the XBOX system to make it mobile worthy, or is it just a matter of mounting it properly?

Any certain brand of flip down monitors/dvd player to avoid or look for?

Or since the XBOX can play dvd's, should I just get two of them for the vehicle and not a dvd player per se?

Would it be best to use a power invertor to power it all or tap into the vehicles 12v line. Would vehicle battery/alternator need to be beefed up or don't those vid items draw a lot of power to matter?

Thanks for any leads/ideas.

Brands to avoid for flipdowns would be Jensen and Xenon, and pretty much anything you can find at your local Best Buy. You'd be better off going with a power inverter to power your xbox, go with a nice powerful unit. Updating your vehicles power system definately won't hurt, a deep cycle battery will help you get more "playtime" when the whole thing is off. I'm not sure about how you'd wire up the screens in the configuration that you're looking for though...

I'm pretty sure something like that is possible but you will have to read thru some manuals and the such. Try Alpine's site, they may have a ready made solution.
