trunk ajar

:naughty: i have a 2000 ls sport and the trunk ajar light keeps going on and the trunk is closed were is the switch i think it went bad thanks:naughty:

I don't find information on that in the service manual, but suspect it's part of the trunk lid latch mechanism. It probably is not considered serviceable by itself. The typical fix would be to spray some electrical parts cleaner into the latch mechanism and operate the trunk lid a few times to work the cleaner in. That often will solve the issue. Electrical parts cleaner will be a pretty long term solution.
