i just got all my intakes and exhaust valve take out and replaced. now im having troble get the spring, retainer, and keepers back in. i used the lisle 36200 but it don't work. Any other tool i can use?

Welcome to AF.

When I do head work, I goto ACE Hardware and buy some copper tubing that's T shaped. Make some little trims here and there and use a larger C-Clamp to push it down. Then used tweezers to put the keepers back on. First couple take awhile to do, but I did 12 valves in about 7 minutes last time I did that.

I used the same thing as Dave and it worked fine. Took me a little while with each valve but I got in done.

yeah for the blinkers. my right side blinker stays on all the time now.

Whats the point of that pic?? No one in this thread has even mentioned cracked valves....


lilbone - I missed your other post. The flasher unit is behind the stereo on 2gens. Its a little black box.
