:banghead: I had a transmission that would not go beyond second when hot but go althe gears when cold so I decided to by an used one and do it my self. I a used Transaxle from a place who deals onyl transmission about 200 miles from where I leave. Alfter I install the transmission now my van wont go anywhere; it feels like is not even engaing at all. The only thing I did was switch the solenoid shift pack from the original transmission to the one I got used (the shift pack in the prevoius tranmission I bouhgt it new thinking it would solve the problem; it didn't) and a black sensor that points inside at the torque converter (kind of a cam sensor). Can anyone help me here please? Thank you in advance.

You bolted up the torque converter, filled with fluid, plugged everything in, and hooked up the linkage, right?

Transmission may not be compatible with your EATX module, Entire PCM program may have to be reloaded (Dealer can do this), torque converter may not be installed right, Tranny may be bad. Make sure range selector is hooked up properly. Make sure the fuse for the solenoids is not blown (fuse # 15). Make absolutely sure you used ATF/4 fluid. The crankshaft position sensor you refer to has to have about 1/16"(MAX) gap between it and the flywheel. Too close and it could be damaged, too far away & engine may stall or not start.
