98 (base) brakes *&_#@

this car has the worst brakes i,ve ever seen. after 50,000 miles and about 4 different brands i,d like to hit it with a sledge hammer. nowadays the pedal seems to go too far to the floor. also after fully pushing my foot down on the pedal it seems to slowly travel a ltttle more toward the floor. stopping distance has always been sad. professional local brake shop did the last "full" brake job about 1.5 yr. ago. it was just barely ok then.

I think its diffrent from person to person, I didnt know how you are braking how often, and what you primary way...
The car weight 1.5 Tons the brake must stop the whole car...

I guess that's why I ain't never got a check for gettin' a wrench-on. And all the while I thought each brake only stopped the part of the car near it.

Goes to show ya' what I don't know.
