random multiple cylinder misfire

I have received the code p0300 for cylinder misfire. I also received 3 more codes for cylinders 1, 3, and 5. I have replaced the spark plug, spark plug wires, distributor, rotary, and crank shaft position sensor all within the past 5 months. I have a 2001 dodge dakota. Please help!!!

sounds like it's in the coil. have you checked the spark coming from coil pack? if it's orange thats not good it should be blue spark.

How do I check the coils to see the color of spark?

have you had this checked at auto zone or any where to get to this point? if not take it one of these places. or you could unplug module so it wont start and take a old plug and go around to every plug and plug it into all them while someone turns moter over and look at spark.

Pull Dist. Cap The Sender Unit In The Cap Is Miss Reading , The Dist. Has A Little Metal Cup In It ,THAT THE SENSOR READS , It Has Come Loose , I Have Glued Them , Soldered Them In Place, Best To Replace Distributor , Just Remove Cap And Sensor , Some SENSORS Have Screws In Side Of Dist. Some Come Off With Cap , Remove Rotor Button , And LoOk And Touch Cup In Dist. If It"s Loose Moves It"s Bad ,

not a coil, if it was a coil, all the cylinders would misfire, it's only one bank.

I went to Advance Auto and had them erase the codes. That was about a week ago and the check engine light has not come back on. Maybe a fluke???

It could be fuel injectors also.What brand plugs did you put in?If they were Bosch,throw them in the garbage can,all they are good for and put in a set of Champions.Cheap plug wires will do this also

Sounds like a bad plenum gasket to me!
