I am almost embarassed to ask this, but I have a 2000 Taurus with a Flex Fuel (2 series) V6 engine. I have not yet gotten a book for this car, but am trying to work a P0174 code. since it is a front wheel drive vehicle and the motor is mounted transverse, which is bank 2 front or back when viewed from the front with the hood open. I did replace the 90 after the PCV valve hoping that would fix it, because it had completely disinegrated, but after 2 weeks, it has yet to clear. I am alse wondering if the PCV valve may not be fitting tightly enough in its grommet as it seems way too loose. mgith I be getting a vacuum leak there also? Thank You for any assistance.

Bank 2 is the bank nearest the front of the car, as you are standing in front of the open hood. Bank 1 is the bank near the firewall. And the cylinder number is 1, 2, 3 from the belt to the flywheel on bank 1, 4-6 on bank 2 starting at the belt.

Or whatever side has cylinder one is bank one and the other side is bank 2
