Sat. went by to see Nissan mechanic and he had a silver 350 on the rack with paper tags on it. I asked what the deal was and he said new syncros in tranny. He also said it was three weeks old.

How? I asked. Speed shifting w/o clutch he said. This is the second one he has seen with the same trouble.

Guys, this is not the same tranny as in race cars and they those are rebuilt after every race so JUST USE THE CLUTCH!!!!!!!! OKAY?

I used to speed shift with my 1975 Camaro constantly, and nothing happened. The gears lasted the life of the car.
