Meeting #5

Alright, first thing. I need to know a good time for everyone, so we can get as many members to this meeting as possible. Now that we have our own forum, it should be a lot easier for us to figure out a time. So everyone post a day and a time that would be good. And if you have anything you think we should talk about, post it up in here.

well we also have to get the timezones thing straight for the meeting
Tony
03-17-2003, 09:40 AM
yea, good point, forgot about that.
Just post your timezone also when you post a time and date. I think I got everyone's timezone figured out....except for civickiller and civicjim.

i almost always work Mon-Fri so weekends would be best for me. unless its after 9:30 on a weekday, or around 9 if i just go over to seths house since he lives like 2 min away from my work :)

:D I even cleaned my room! Well... You can walk around in here now...
I believe that you have to be a non profit for each state... So we would need to set one up for every state :( I'll have to look into that.

do we have any east coasters!? cause im thinking maybe have it late night on the weekdays!? as long as we dont have any east coasters it wont be horribly late, only two hours at most for central.

Blu Civic is east coast, and Civic Jim is FFAAARRR East coast. Civic Jim is I think, 6 hours ahead of me, so its hard to set a date and time for him.

Well just got through talking to on of the Top members of Severed Ties. I'm sure most of you have heard of that club. He said all we have to do is register our name to the state, and register our logo, so no one car steal them, thats it. He said nothing about the non-profit organization.

Oh yea, don't know why i didn't ask.
What kind of logo are we gonna have for our cars? Back window logo, or just a windshield banner with the name on it?

GTA
03-18-2003, 10:56 AM
yea, i'm not a fan of windsheild banners either. I'd be down for a side window one like the small ones Ami made for the site...but maybe, if it was pretty small, we could have a somewhat small TLD on the bottom corner of the winsheild like ef squad.

Alright, seems like a good idea, keep them coming and guess we will end up deciding on one on, or by the next meeting.

i thought this was an odd spot for a sticker but it could work ...
someone had a college sticker on their drivers side window right next the the side mirror. just a sugjestion for where we can throw our sticker.

Well, we can set 2 different days and times. One can be on Saturday or Sunday, and we can have another later in the week. We can have the one during the week at night, and the one on the weekend during the day sometime so the east coast people can join easy. Sound good? Just gotta set a day and time.

sounds like a plan. something your gonna have to think about is a coucil meeting as well. that is something your gonna have to do to start making the rules more solid and shit.

Alright, hows this? I'm just coming up with days and times off the top of my head. Sunday at 3pm Central and Wednesday at 8 pm central. Those aren't set, just some times to mess with. Need opinions on it though.

Tony
03-19-2003, 02:39 PM
well like i said, its not set just yet. Figured it might get you all jump started on a day and time. Shit, I might not even be able to make the weekday one once i get a job again. Supposed to go for an interview for Toys R Us friday, yay!! I don't wanna grow up...oh sorry. :frog:

Well we could have different size stickers for different places, but I like that back window thing, the corners. I would put something on my side windows, but that spot is saved for the 4thGenerationCivic.com stickers.

Sup. I know im not a member yet but has anyone suggested everyone getting personalized plates? I know here in Massachussetes vanity plates cost about 70$. They could be made to say " TLD and whatever your member number is? I think this idea is alot better than some window sticker. I think window stickers suck!!!!!
:flamer:window sticker:badass:

personalized plate = 70 bucks ...
sticker = maybe 12 with shipping.
i think i would rather go with the sticker. and were not talking about some huge banner ... but something like maybe 4 inches accross and 3 tall ... nothing big

yea, i would much rather go with some stickers. There will be a range in sizes and everything on them so it will be up to the driver. I just gotta get some people making some designs for it.

Trust me, not all of us are huge sticker fans, we just see no problem with small stickers representin what club your in over 70 bucks for a custom tag.
