I have a 1994 Jetta iii GL and i just bought it the car has 129,000 miles on it, the engine turns over but will not start. Im not getting any fuel to the engine, but the fuel pump does work cause i bridged it, and it came on. I even replaced the alarm itself with one from a junk yard. I also noticed that the pump in the trunk that contolls the Door locks was burnt out also some melted wires by the passenger door. i Replaced the 4 wires that goes to the truck cause of being burnt. I replaced both units and still nothing. But i just noticed something today (oct 23rd 2008) that im not getting any fire to the the harness pins # 5 and 6.. i was told to wire them together and that was disable the alram.. But have no fire...does anyone know what the 6 pin Harness controlls?? I need to know what every wire does, i have the manual, but i think i just wasted my money on that.. Anyways any help would be appreciated! if you have any other info on the alarm, anything would help!!

Could be your fuel pump relay switch. They seem to be an issue with VW's.

I checked the fuel pump relay, Still nothing..Im doing everything i can think of, today im going to go lower the fuse box itself and take a look and see if perhaps the fusebox is fried.. But What i need to know is for the Alarm...........There is a 6 pin Harness (power supply) going to it, i need to know what 1-6 does, cause i have 2 red wires, pins 5 and 6, and no fire..anyone have any ideas??
