Tony, I see your point... there was no question.. that makes this a... Hopes and Dreams thread?
If that's the case, I have nothing to say here.
If that ISN'T the case.. I still suggest the OP Ask Jeeves (http://www.askjeeves.com), he knows all.

Ok, so the question is: What wiring do I need to do to install a D16Z6 in my car with a conversion harness?
Now my question is: What kind of conversion harness did you get that didn't come with instructions?
I ordered a Boomslang OBD0-OBD1 MPFI conversion harness for one of my hatches. It came with instructions, which are also easy to find online, and tells you exactly what all needs to be done. Ofcourse, the way I am, I modified it a little more than they did and I don't have to run as many wires back to the ECU harness as their instructions call for.

Since you have a conversion harness you really only need to do link 2 and 3, which are the same thing, the mpfi swap. You will need to redo your distributor wiring as well. The first link just has tips on getting the engine into the car, like which mounts to use etc.

Ok, I was taking up for you before, but now you go and create another thread asking the same question you finally asked in your other thread?
EDIT: Ok, look, it merged right into the old thread flawlessly. Don't create new threads asking the same question. If you want help, you will have to help us help you when we ask a simple question.
You still didn't answer my question: What harness did you get and why do you not have instructions with it?
If you want a DPFI to MPFI How-to, I just recently did a How-to on it, with pictures, showing a few different ways to go about doing the swap. Check the FAQ...which I also just recently went through and made it easier for noobs to look through.

I didn't get instructions with my conversion kit and its for converting my car from obd0 to obd1. That's why I purchased it in the beginning. My engine harness won't connect to the car harness either, how should I go about that.

That is one of the few things I would never get off ebay, its worth the extra money to get a good named harness like Rywire or Boomslang.
First thing I would do, is try to contact the person you got it off of and see if they can give you some instructions on what wires are what.
But seperate from the harness, you will need to do a MPFI swap on the wires: run the 2 extra wires for the 2 extra injectors, swap the outside wires on the TPS sensor along with extending them, run the 2 extra wires from the distributor, and figure out if you are installing a resistor box or not. Check the FAQ, I recently did a how-to on the MPFI swap and should have covered most of your questions on it.
Along with the MPFI stuff you will also need to run wires for your Vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch, and wires for a 4 wire o2 sensor.
Also, on the D16Z6, the MAP sensor is on the throttle body instead of the fire wall, along with the "purge" solenoid. These 2 sensors you can just extend the wires and change the plug on the Purge solenoid....or just extend the MAP wires and leave the other one.

From what year and model do I get the resistor box from. My car is a 91 honda civic dx. d15 (dpfi) and im going to swap it with a 92-95 vtec (mpfi) d16z6? I saw a resistor box on ebay... 88-91 Civic Crx SI HF Injector Resistor box Mpfi, should i get this one. The d16z6 engine going into the car already has the harness, intake manifold, throttle body. How do I go about the 2 main harness conectors on the car to connect to the 2 main connectors that are on the engine (d16z6).

If you use the obd1 injectors don't use a resistor box, the injectors dont need them.

You should be using the engine harness for your car, so you don't have these issues.
Get the plugs from the car you took the harness from, or get the harness that goes to a 91 DX.

Ok, I was able to get and print out the steps for converting to mpfi for (dummies). I want to be certain that the information you guys are giving is what is correct because I will be passing it to my brother he's doing the swap. D16z6 engine is complete, what things do leave on and what do take off. I've confused do I use a conversion harness or not? Do I use the harness from the d15 and also use the harness from the d16z6 and grab the harness for the injectors and then complete the wiring is the correct?

Follow the simplified MPFI swap by Tony.
Before you put the engine in the car, make sure you have the DX engine harness wired up to the D16Z6, with the injector harness already wired in and the Vtec wiring already done. Once you're done w/ all that, you can insert the engine, that should be pretty straightforward... after that, connect the engine harness to the chassis harness, and plug in the ECU. Connect your battery, done.
It's not nearly as easy as I just made it sound, but damn, it's not that hard either.

The reason why we've asked you to contact the person you bought it from is because each harness is going to use different color codes. You need the diagram from the guy you bought it from if you want the correct color codes.

Ok, here you go:
On the D16Z6 Engine harness, you are going to harvest the complete fuel injector wiring, including the little plug with all the yellow/black wires on it. Just unloom the thing with a razor and pull this wiring out. Its relatively simple.
You will also want to get the plug for the Vtec-2 plugs there: 1 1 wire plug 1 2 wire plug. And you will need to get the plug for the o2 sensor, its a 4 wire plug.
Who ever is doing this swap will end up adding these wires and plugs into your stock harness. Doesn't matter what swap you are doing, you always stick with your stock engine harness and just modify it however you need to.
The problem with buying a conversion harness off ebay is this right here: You have no idea what color wires go to what. I can give you Boomslang's instructions, but I don't think it will really help you on wire colors. It will help you understand more of what you need to do on the OBD0-OBD1 swap though.
Simply go to www.boomslang.us and click Resources. This is the harness I got and it was excellent, great instructions, well made and no issues anywhere on it. It was a little pricier than others, but something as important as my ECU, I'll spend the extra cash.

They came from the Z6, or anything OBD-1 or OBD2A/B AND from a HondaYES if:
You're not sure where they came from, or what OBD they are, OR if they came from an OBD-0 (non OBD) Honda engine. Some injector tips:
Always go with the car you got them from... if it has one, use one.
If you're unsure, use one anyway, it won't hurt.
NEVER mix and match. Don't use 2 that need it and 2 that don't.
DSM injectors, if you ever use them, some use it, some don't. Never just assume you don't need it. Always assume you will.
Replace your lower injector seals, even if you don't think they need to be... you can't easily test for a vacuum leak under load.
