Italian red on a German supercar?
Looks great! I agree, the first proper red one I have seen too...
Very clean finish, makes me want to own one myself (the model, can't afford the real thing...yet

Hello, welcome.
Great finish on that paintwork and an overall, very clean build. I'm getting very jealous seeing all these perfect looking paintjobs when I'm struggling with constantly burning through my paint layer.

Ouch it's HOT! Very neat job! Just curious, did you paint the interior w/ airbrush? It just looks very neat before my eyes. Cheers.

It looks very hot in red, your work is awesome. Still I think some charcoal interior would have looked better with the red body!

Hi ddtham.. the hobby hasn't died yet in Indo. Just we don't have many serious car modelers. Or keen enough to do research of the car even its only OOB build. Thats why I joined here. Hopefully I can get better in modelling
Cheers

Hi Bud,
That's great to hear. When I left 7 years ago, there was no interest in the hobby at all.
I believed AF is the best place to hang out as car modelers, I've been trading stuffs with plenty of members here more than I can count.
What's your next project??
Good luck!
Cheers

Hi ddtham, actually our hobby quite thriving here 7 years back. we had local competition sponsored by Toy' R' Us in 2001, in 2000 at P&P hobby shop. Then I went overseas for couple of years, when I'm back, we had annual competition / exhibition at P&P hobby shop. we'll have another one just in one month time ( around mid Dec ), so I have 1 project that I'll submit. its just R-35 standard.
I'll post the WIP soon, when I'm not lazy taking the pictures along the way the process.ha.ha.ha :grinno:

Wow,
I can't believed there are so many contests which I'm unaware of. But then again I lived in Sbaya, maybe that's why :D
Post your WIPs, I'm looking forward to it, and take lots of pics at the contest, if it's not too much of a hassle :D :D
It's great to meet fellow indo modeler at an international forum.
Looking forward to your other projects!

I just noticed that you glued the doors on and filled the joints before painting, right?
