ok i am in some serious trouble!!!
i painted my r34 skyline mica blue ant it was lookin fine it was a decent paint job, then i clearcoated it with bout 4 coats, the that same nite i couldnt wait and i decided to wax the car and that s where the trouble began, i waxed out the paint out of all the pannel lines in the modle:eek: so i was like i can fix this by re-sprayin the car!
so i went to re-spray the car with the little bit of mica blue and thats where it happened! a big glop of paint sprayed on my model !
so i was forced to wid it off and when i did that it took off all the pain to the body, so now i sanded the car doun the clear coat is gone and it is still mica blue for the most part..

now here the question...

i sprayed the skyline with tamyla paint but i cannot get more of that color for now so can i go to the local car store and pick up a color similar to the mica blue and just sprat it over the mica blue thats there?
i was planing on buying a dark purple and spray it over the blue so i can get like a blueish purpleish dark color, good or bad idear or should i jus spray it back a dark blue n hope 4 da best?

plz help me!
thanks,

p.s. sorrie no pic cause i dont have a digi cam!

i would just simply mix the purple and a different blue. a darker blue. that way you will get the bluish purplish look you want and i think it would cover right over the blue.

i dont know about the clear coat. i just buy gloss paints and put them in my airbrush. i couldnt tell ya. but if you want the car to have that cameleon paint look, mix the purple and darker blue together and it should look fine. i think it would cover up the old blue, but i havent needed to try it.
