About Gunze paints, lacquer base

Those that have used this type of paint, I need to ask you:

Which thinner type should I add to dilute the paint?

Acrylic or Enamel thinner?
Will be using it for airbrushing.

Any advice on if this paint if good or not suitable for airbrushing? Cos in a shop, they told me that enamel isnt good for airbrushing and I was wondering if this applies to Gunze's lacquer base paints too.

By the way, the thinner to use is neither Arcylic nor Enamel base.
It should be thinner by MR HOBBY. And I advise you to use Levelling thinner for a better thinning and better effect.

Why did you get the paint from?

By the way, Gunze lacquer base is to date the best for airbrushing cars.
This applies to Singapore.
I do not know what other kind of paints are offer outside the market but not here in Singapore.

it is no problem to use the Gunze's lacquer base paints in airbrushing. i alway use the Gunze' lacquer base paints. it is harder then tamiya TS series. you can't use the Acrylic or Enamel thinner.

Ok I got both the gunze lvling and normal thinners. I guess I'll go for the lvling one.

I heard its 70/30 thinner/paint ratio right?

Srlxy: got the paints from Roy's shop at centre point and Hobby International from Tiong Bahru.

Most of the times I use Tamiya and Gunze Aqueous Hobby colour but this is the first time I am using Gunze lacquer base thats why not so sure.

Just now use tamiya's thinner, enamel and acrylic and saw the gunze re-acted to it very funnily.

Think I go do some mixing liao, mai tu liao ah!! (dont waste time already!)

Damn external airbrush type.....grrrr. Or is it me?
The sprays from the Gunze is rough.

1)Is it the airbrush, its the SGD$59 one, external one where you fit the whole bottle of paint below it?
2)Is it that I added too little lvling thinner with the gunze? Cos the fuild after the mixture was like skim milk. Heard for gunze it has to be more watery right?
3)I got an internal Sparmax DH125 double action airbrush too but havent build the confidence to use the gunze for this airbrush yet. Cos the gunze paint if use to clean with water really hardens fast and its a pain in the arse to wash this airbrush.

Any of you experts on gunze can advice me on whats the ratio to mix for the gunze?

yeah use about 70/30 for Mr. Levelling Thinner/Color... i tried with more thinner last night and the the gloss color is amazing.
