squelling

I have a 1995 pontiac sunfire 2.2 L OHV and I recently changed the belt and the belt tensioner assembly. I still get a squelling chirping noise coming from up front in the location of the alternator, belt and pulleys.could it be that the bushings are going bad in the alternator?

could be the bearings, you can take it off and have a part store run it on a test bench to see if that is it.

Spray CAREFULLY, in one place at a time, some WD40, to see if that makes it go away.

Spray one spot, and then spray no other spot, to give it time to get in. Otherwise, you won't know if you hit the squeaky spot.
