Before i posted this thread i did a search but didnt find any results.
Where can i find a replacement carpet for my 1991 dodge? I dont want to do it myself.. and i want it pre-molded so it looks nice. Plus i know on the side of the middle dash there is plastic clip on pieces with carpet on that.. so i would need something with that as well. I cant seem to find any place online at all.. help please.

I believe leatherseats.com can make you replacement carpets. Give them a call and ask for Bill.

go to 3sxperformance.com they have all kinds of stuff for our cars....not sure if I've seen carpet on there before but it's worth a look. Also you can check out us3s.org, I know for a fact one of them has done it in the past, I can remember him posting on that forum.

are there any upholsrty shops around you?
they can get you carpet that comes pretty close to original, and they'll do the work. though them matching the color really depends on the original color, red would be harder than something like black

Thanks for the help,
Leatherseats.com doesnt have anything..
3sx doesnt sell carpet..
and an upholstry shop was in the back of my head but i kinda wanted to do it myself. there is no way im going to just go and get a piece of carpet and do everything myself because i will probably look horrid. i found a couple places online that says its molded for my car but.. i dunno how much i trust them or not.
and yeah.. i was going for black because for some freakin weird reason.. ( i believe it came stock this way..? ) i had green carpet.. (ewww) and red vinyl seats.. with black interior.. it was way to christmasy looking... but i will figure something out unless someone actually comes up with a solution.

though you may look weird, upholstry shop. just go and ask for the carpet with the correct measurements and they should have it in a few days, though black probably the next day. most places relize there are people who can work on cars themselves, especially interiors.
or, if you wanted to spend some decent money and get something really cool, there's always unique autosports on Long Island. they can do what you're asking in all of a few hours, and make it look damn good.

this might work
http://www.stockinteriors.com/items.asp?MakeId=19&ModelId=572&MainCatId=1&Desc=Mitsubishi_3000GT_Carpet&gclid=CKSYo-61vJYCFQVfFQodqSReyg
perfect man.. this was exactly what i was looking for. i found similar things like this from a good search but none of the pictures were of the actual carpet from a 3000/stealth and i just didnt trust it one bit. plus they have a phone number that I can call, so im defidently going to do that. plus it also states... "Does not include carpet for the Console." so they know what there talking about. thank you so much vector.
has anyone ever ordered from midnight haze?? i did before, after realizing there wasnt really a contact.. and yeah i really got f'd on that.

midnight haze product looks awsome, but no, it was mentioned on an old off topic thread of places that rip you off, maybe we should make a sticky for it.
and no problem, quick google search it was one of the first that popped up, i was going to uses it for my 944, but just bought black carpet instead and sized it myself

Shaun aka Midnight Haze is apparently trying to make a name for himself again. He is supposedly doing work with Cianci again.

Well either way the d!ck head ripped me off and there was nothing i could do about it.. so his name to me is already ruined.
Also, vector.. how hard was it to put the carpet in? I was thinking about doing that because I found black carpet 12x12 for $80 new... which is really cheap im just a little worried on doing it myself. I mean I have confidence in myself but when you are as picky as i am.. it's kinda tuff.

depends on how good you are, i'm still trying to figure out the inner rear quater panels, but i was thinking of changing it to a suade or something else lightweight. i wouldn't know what it's like on a 3/s, i did it on my 944, i think the 944 is a lil more difficult. if i remember my stealth(havent seen looked for a few months) the floorboard and hatch is pretty flat.
are you removing the rear seats?
i removed the carpet because it looked aged and i wanted hollowfiber so that it weighs less...i'm going for a track prep'd car that's still usable daily till i can get a 911. i did run out of patience wit the car today. its sitting now with only the front completely done.

yeah i already removed the rear seats and they are already at the upholstry shop getting redone in black and white vinyl..
i think im going to order the carpet from that site you gave me though, im going to call them and see if i can get an extra foot or two to do the middle console myself.. i dont think that was too hard concidering the fact it was just stapled onto the plastic..

The only thing about using just a flat piece of carpet is getting it to look right. The stock carpet is molded to fit the curves and crevices.

^ yup, that's why i'm doing the spot my back seats occupied last. as for my hatch i'm esentially cutting the same pattern that the stock carpet is plus a lil for final fitment and underlap. sometimes the insulation helps with getting rid of some of the crevices/curves to the metal, but other times you sit there for a few minutes till you have it completely planned in your head, then start and relize its still not right.

How dark do you mean, i would really prefer black concidering the fact its the color coordination that i am going for. And as long as its like not completely freakin ugly looking carpet, ( i would like a picture ) then i would probably purchase it off of you.
As for a price, I found this new one online ( thank you vector ) that i can purchase new for $118.. so depending on the condition of the carpet and what not we would have to figure something out. If you have AIM my sn is mydownfall00.
