Help - Thin walled socket needed for door panel removal

I need to replace the window regulator on an '04 Grand Prix, After removing the trim cover from the door handle, there are two bolts recessed in the handle, which are not able to be removed using ordinary sockets. According to the GM instructions I found online, one must use a thin walled socket. (Infuriating to the umpteenth degree...). :banghead:

Since I can't reach the bolt with my existing sockets, I can't tell for sure what size socket I need.

Does anyone know where a set of thin-walled sockets can be purchased? Also, anyone happen to know what size bolt it is? It looks to be around 7/16, or 10mm, somewhere in that range.

Answering my own post here...
I bought a new 1/4 drive 10mm deep socket from Sears, it is about 1/16", or maybe 3/32" narrower than the Sears socket I had from 25 years ago. The new socket wasn't described as being "thin walled", but apparently they started making these things thinner than they did 25 years ago. in any case, that little difference is all it took, and I'm able to remove the bolts.

So if anyone is having a similar problem in the future, buy a new socket for $4 like I did.
