I was just wondering if $3,500 was a good price for a b16a1 engine, trans, and installation w/ a 90 day warranty. Any comments would be cool:bandit:

Hey Kunundrum is that a B16 or a ZC under your hood? Also $3000 is TAXED for a B16 and instalation! I can get the motor with mounts/trany/shiftlinkage/ecu its actualy a front clip, for $1150 and I can have it installed by some sick honda guru's for $850... thats $2000 Exactly! Give or take $200 or so.

I'm actually gonna agree with Seth on that one.. I could get a 1st gen B16/tranny/ecu for less than $900 (of your american money) and a complete install for 900ish..
It really just depends who you know. (or who you don't in your case) :p

i got mine shipped from cali to NY for 1500 with everything, and it could be easily installed for about 1000 or so.

oh boys don't forget maintenace items.
water pump, motor mounts, timing belt, plug wires, plugs, header, clutch, hoses...
that stuff adds up

yes with all my goodies and regular maintence stuff, ive spent well over another 1000 on my motor.
