I have a body I need help on. did the prep work primed and shot the first of 2 colors. I wanted a stripe down the center so I painted the stripe color. It came out great, polished it up great. Then I taped it off and started to paint the main color. I was in a hurry and got some air bubbles and a spec of dust in it. So I stripped most the paint off snaded down smooth and reprimmed. resanded smooth. You could still see some of the main color as I sanded some primmer off to get it smooth. I did not re prime it though. I shot the stripe again, and tonight re shot the main color. It has not hardend or anything, but in one door the one that had the airbubbles in it, you can see some of the bad parts from before still. It is smooth and only is noticible at one angle. Like I said if you run your finger over it, it is smooth. Will this go away when I polish it or clear it? I guess I learned I need to use more primmer next time though.

Thanks for all your help
Brad

Clear doesn't hide defects in the base coat. Given that, i know that i'm the only one that will ever see some flaws in my models, but that doesn't mean they don't still bug me.
I prefer to think i can learn from my mistakes and move on, then to dwell on perfection and redo every part until it is flawless.
