Transmission problems?

I have a 2001 gtp with around 105k. There is a slight clunking noise after coasting for a while then hitting the gas again. There is also a vibration coming from the front end. If i am on the hwy and let my foot off the gas the vibrations stop, and just the opposite if i apply gas. The hubs were replaced about a year ago, and there isnt any noise coming from the front end except the clunking noise after applying gas after coasting a while, and can only hear it when i am runnning around 40 miles and hour or less. Other wise there is a slight vibration but other than nothing out of the norm. And i hear no noise like when the hubs went out.

Sound like it might be a cv joint issue. Look at the boots and see if the rubber boot is cut.

I agree that it sounds like a CV axle issue.
