I can't figure out how to firmly attach the windshield to the body of the Revell 427 Cobra. Do you use a thin layer of epoxy? thick super glue? white glue? It needs to be strong yet inconspicuous.
How about the windshield wings? Super glue?
Thanks.

I would drill a few small holes in the frame and body and pin it with 2 part expoxy.

I also had a lot of trouble with that part.
I think I ended up using super glue.
Not the best for the job, but about the only thing I found that worked.
White glue worked, but was so delicate, I broke off the windshield frame trying to move it to the display case.
I marred the paint a little bit, but it is on more securely now.
Good luck!

Yeah, I thought about pinning the windshield but I'm not sure I'm up to it at my skill level.
Seems like an aftermarket cast metal windshield frame would be a no brainer for this very popular kit. Or is there one available already?

Welcome to AF!
Just be very careful with superglue or epoxy around clear parts. If you get some where you don't want it, you will never get it clean. :uhoh:

if you want to see some pics of THE car you are building see them here http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/chassisNum.aspx?carID=2590&iDNumID=622 If you look at the license plate in the kit is should be the csx number unless they changed them. When the revell guy went to gregs house it was still unpained just bare aluminum. I rode in that car at black hawk farms race track before it got painted. If you are a tbird guy greg is a tbird restorer.
