SE-R National Convention

OK guys, this is a few months off, but I thought I'd get y'all thinking about this now......
Sometime in the spring, the Phoenix members of SERCA will be hosting the 5th Annual SE-R National Convention. There will be track events (they are talking about multiple track events last I knew - road course, drag strip, an possibly autocross?). There will also be a picnic and car show, as well as other fun things.
All owners of SR20 powered cars are welcome in SERCA and at the convention. You do not need to be a member of SERCA to come. It is open to all. There are many G20 owners who will be there. I know at least 3 G20 owners in Phoenix will be there. Many of you are close enough to attend. I'll post more details when they become available. But, if you really love your car, want to learn more about it, want to drive it on the track with other SR20 pilots, and want to meet more of the SR20 community, I strongly suggest you attend.
I can almost guarantee that Mike Kojima of SCC will be there. Rob Cadle, SERCA President and engineer for Garrett Turbochargers will be there. I (VP SERCA) will be there. There will be many cool SR20 powered cars there. Hell, it's close enough that we might even be able to convince Dave Coleman to come. For sure there will be SR20 drivers flying in from all over the country, as well as driving in.
I don't know which car I will bring. I may have the G20. It would be fun to drive on the track now that the DET is in it. I may bring my SE-R if it is track ready. I may have a rental car (if I fly). Or, I may even bring the SCCA ITS SE-R if I can figure out how to trailer it out there.
But please come. I guarantee you will have the time of your life. You will receive instruction for the road course event. You may even receive instruction from SERCA members who hold racing licenses or have considerable track experience.
So, keep this in your mind and I'll post more as I have informatioin.

YES! Everyone PLEASE come out to Az for this event. It's one of the best, if not the best car event of the year (for SR20 owners). I am helping set everything up for the Convention this year. I did live in Phoenix, up until August, now I am in Tucson but that is still very close (about an hour and a half from Phoenix). Iit's looking like it will be the last weekend of spring break. (I think that's around March 17th or so?) I'd have to double check the dates, but i think it's expected to be around there. We are still trying to get the track dates finalized... and once we have that we will have a final timeline for the Convention.
I have room for maybe one or two people at my apartment in Tucson, but i'll probalby be staying at my parent's place, as it is MUCH closer, it's about 15-25 minutes from the track, picnic area, etc... It'll be beautiful out here that time of year too.
And best of all... You'll get to see my magnificent P10 in person! HAHAHA :D
