Interior Lights Will Not Turn Off

I have a 95' Buick Regal GS and as I was going down the road the interior lights started blinking on and off. When I got home the interior lights would not cutt off even after the vehicle had been locked. My kid had messed with the door assembly earlier and I had to flip it back around so the door would shut. Would this have anything to do with the problem? If I disconnect the battery will this fix the problem or is this some kind of code for something else? Thanks to anyone that can help.

The first thing i would check is the door ajar switch. If it is adjustable it could be misadjusted. If the door has been moved in any direction it may not be makeing good contact with the door ajar switch.

Where is the door ajar switch located?
