keyless entry

Hey guys, i gotta 2000 grand am with keyless entry but only the alarm button works, would that just be because the remotes broken or do i just need to reprogram it? If so how do I do that? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you have a lock/unlock relay bad or your battery is weak.

The newer model GA's, 2001+ , require the stealership to program the keyfob.
