traction control kicks gear- Alero

Hello
One of my cars (Olds Alero 2001 2.4L automatic GLS) has traction control problem - it jerks between 3 and 4 speeds at about 110 km/h. The result is jerking of car forward-backward and turning of cruise control off. I tried to visit dealership with this problem 2 monts ago . There is no error code in computer They thinking the problem is in the gear , but not sure about it . (and they ready to repair it bla bla bla.... for 2-3000$ )
Last week I found , that the problem is disappear when push ETS button to get "TRAC OFF" light.
Does anyone know what is it?
I will visit dealership again and need to know second opinion.
