Low coolant light

ok, I am starting to think this will never go away.

I replaced the low collent sensor+ cleaned the hole

I did a complete coolent flush.

I bled all the air out of the system.

checked coolent level which seems fine.

Anyone have any other idea's to what I can do next besides stabbing a screwdriver through the light on my dash?

What brand coolant did you have before the coolant flush and when the issue first started?

Also, did you inspect the wiring to the sensor?

Also what you can do is measure the voltage on the connector, should have 5 volts or 12 volts dc.

All sensors use a 5v reference voltage from the PCM, do you have that with the ignition ON?

I had the same problem as you with my 99 GTP. The sensor itself was bad.
I think the new one was around $35. You have to take out the battery to get the new one in there.

If you refer to the OPs first post he stated the low coolant sensor was replaced.

Also, you do not need to remove the battery to replace it. Just remove the passenger side headlamp assembly.

Double whoops, I guess it's too early in the morning for me. Sorry!

No problem and thanks for contributing to the forum.

Just for reference gentlemen you will have 12 volts at ignition to on at the sensor electrical connector. There are two wires. Black/white which is chassis ground and a yellow/black which is the center pin of the electrical connector. The yellow/black wire is hot which comes from the IP cluster. The sensor is actually a P.O.S. and the circuit very basic even worthless. All the level sensor does is send a ground when coolant level is abnormal to the IP Cluster which in turn illuminates the low coolant warning light.
