Swift problem

I got a 1993 suzuki swift and had being experiencing problem with how it transmits the drive. On changing gear or attempting to accelerate while driving,on pressing the accelerator its does not increase the speed uniform but it drags suddenly then speed up. I have being to a few mechanic, check engine mount but that ok. Another said could be a clutch/pressure plate problem which was change just a year ago. I alsio understand that the caburetor could be the problem. Sometimes even moving off the entire engine jerks noisily.
Any suggestion.
