I got a 98 cavalier with a 2.2l 5 speed. I replaced a gasket on one of the radiator lines, and now all it does it overheats and spills antifreeze out of the coolant cap and the cooling fan does not come on. I tried the bleed screw on the heater hose, is there another one, where is it at? I seen on one post that there is one on the thermostat housing, but that was on a 96, is that the same for 98? Also, since doing this the low coolant level light is on on the dash but the tank is full of coolant.
Thanks
Chris

A gasket on the radiator line? Not sure what that is... Was there a cooling problem before?
Has it been flushed? How is the heat (to check flow through the heater core)?

Replace the overflow cap and the T-stat then let us know how it's doing.
