waterpump weephole

I have aquired a 93 accord that has been setting for three years. Just setting there in a garage it leaked a bucket full of oil. Strange considering the drain plug is Not leaking. Looked as if it was coming from timing cover plus the weep hole had a pretty steady stream of coolant when running. So upon pulling cover & timing belts and water pump off,all the seals & waterpump appear to be ok. As in not gushing fluids anyways. Figured out that weep hole is not directly on the pump. So is there something else that can cause that thing to spew? Also apparently barking up the wrong tree with the oil leak as well. Could an oil pump seal be the culprit? At this point im replacing waterpump & timing belt anyways. I figure someone with far more honda experience than I may be able to offer an opinion. Thanks!

Water and oil pumps do leak and the problem can be increased by not being used for a long time. Sometimes running the engine for a while will solve the problem but most likely you are in for both a new oil pump and water pump. For oil it could be the crank seal or the cam seal. If it otherwise runs OK, maybe it is time for new parts. Include the timing belts and the drive belts at the same time. The labor to go back in well exceeds the price of the parts.
