Hi, all...
I just purchased a 2007 Caliber SE with 25K miles. Seems like a great car overall, but there's one weird problem: Sometimes, when I take my foot off the accelerator (like when I'm approaching a red light), the car seems to drag slightly -- like it's in a lower gear or something. It doesn't coast freely like my previous car (and my wife's van).
Any thoughts? There's still some warranty left, so I plan to take it in, but I just wondered if anyone else has encountered this or has any idea what might cause it.
TIA!

Could be a caliper that is sticking in the brakes. I would say take the brakes apart and check it out but there is no point if the car is under warranty. Next time you take it in ask them to examine the brakes to ensure everything is operating properly.
