Ok so i never had any problems with my clutch system at all until i got a spec stage 2+ clutch with 12 lb flywheel, and since then my slave cylinder keeps blowing out. It just went out for the thrird time today it really sucks. I have no other ideas on why my slave cylinder would blow out. a couple questions: does anyone have any other ideas or know of this happening to other people? Do they make somehow stronger slave cylinders that could hold more pressure or something? Any comments would be greatly appreciated!!!

People have much heavier clutches than a Spec 2+ without slave issues.

I understand that i just have never heard of a slave cylinder going out three times in less than a year. I have a brand new master cylinder as well.

If TOB was bad he wouldnt even be able to fully depress the clutch pedal and it would want to stall everytime he pressed the clutch pedal.

Ask me how I know? :D

haha stealthee you would, lol. i wonder if maybe he has a bent shift fork or it came of the pivot ball in the trans so it lets the slave come out to far and blows out? im not sure if the clutch would still depress if it was off the piviot but it would deff alow the slave to come out to far and blow out. there really shouldnt be any other reason (slave related) it has to be something with the amount of pressure resistance it is getting. and ur rite that clutch isnt that heavy the slave should have no issues with that clutch.
