1997 sierra 3500 timing?

is there a wire that needs to b pulled to set the time right on a 1997 GMC sierra 454 automatic trans.??

No,a scan tool is required and the distribitor is set with a scan tool.Go into the data stream looking for cam sensor retard and the spec is zero degrees.There is a cam sensor inside the distribitor which helps fire the fuel injectors.
