93 Camaro security light on nor radio

i have a 93 camaro that was a shell when i bought it, it had a wire harness that was cut to pieces that i ended up replacing with a 95 camaro harness (under hood, under dash, engine and trans, tail light harness, everything) and it had a stock alarm system and an aftermarket alarm system that i have removed. the car worked great until i went to use the powere mirrors then the security light kicked on and my radio shows the time but wont change stations or play any sound... does anyone have any idea what to do?:confused:

more info please what engine/trans is in it now what engine/trans did the harness come from, and most importantly (some will argue) what came out of the car originally?

we need more info before we can attempt to weed out the potential problems.

Maybe there is a wire pinched in one of the door jams, shorting to the speaker and now you need the unlock code for the radio since it lost connection or maybe it just fried the radio. :grinyes:

....Seriously though, did it blow any fuses? Does it reset the radio everytime you mess with mirrors? Double checked your grounds?

the engine and trans is an lt1 with a 4L60E, i have enerything that was equipped on the car i got the harness off of, i have the complete dose, power windows, locks, seats, radio, he works. i have all the sensors, all the grounds are good. no shorting speakers the radio resets everytime i turn the key off. the security system i took out tapped into the radio and run wire of the car but i soldered the wires that needed it, i have my dash apart and i am checking and re-checking my wires and the only thing i can come up with is that maybe i left some second hand brain to the security system that locked me out....
