All politicians abuse their positions at some point or another. I don't think it's as big of a problem for Palin as her just being a total clod in the first place though.

In the end all they got was an ethics charge, and coming from the home state of Larry Craig I know how far that will go.

Talk about circular logic and the wolf looking out for the chickens check this out from Blazee's link:

Legislators do not have the power to take formal legal action against the governor; that would be up to Alaska's Personnel Board.

If the Board decides Mrs Palin violated state law, the case will be referred to the president of the state Senate..

It's awfully late for such a weak finding, and the Alaska Senate ethics hearing that won't happen until next year, to affect this election.
