fast idle

I sure hope someone can help me. I have a 1995 metro 3 shooter that will idle at about 30 mph i have changed everything i can think of, the only thing i can do is plug the vaccum hose to the rear of the throttle body and adjust it with the air screw,but this kills my gas mileage. I can drive my hemi for what it is costing me now. Thanks

Check to see if the IAC is stuck in the cold engine position and also remove the air filter housing and make sure the butterfly in the TB is working correctly.

you may have already but check the throttle positioner. good luck.
