oil leak

:naughty: i have a 1996 sentra with the 1.6 in it and out of the 4 spark plug wells 2 of the wells have about a inch of oil in them my question is are the boots on the wires do the sealing or are there seals between the wells and the valve cover or are ther seals on the well thanks:naughty:

i believe the wells are sealed by the valve cover gasket, simple fix

i believe the wells are sealed by the valve cover gasket, simple fix:) the valve cover gasket goes around the valve cover but the spark plug wells are seperate from the valve cover gasket do the wells have there own gasket or do the spark plug boots do the sealing thanks:)

the wires are not for sealing against oil. remove the v/c and take off the wells. they are just tubes threaded into the head. clean the threads and apply teflon tape or sealant. reinstall. you shuld be good to go.

^^^ no dumbass. the tubes have their own gasket. it comes with the valve cover gasket. youll see it when you take the valve cover off. (hint its under the cover).
