I hope he can find his other pics of that car, and maybe even make digital photos out of the negatives of it...
I guess Erik already contacted him ;)

Can someone ask the guy over there to make those pics digital, as he has the negatives?
Take a look at this thread, there you can see an example.

Hi Guy's. Yes those pics are mine. I will try to find more...
I even sat in that car! It was black but had a protective film over it.
It looked really good....

Welcome to the forum Flat mat.
Excellent first posts. amazing contribution. Thankyou.
A write up, on your factory visit would make great reading :)
Your factory pics are certainly eye openers. :yikes: Very good pics for someone of the age, when you took them. I also would greatly appreciate to see your pics in digital format. If you would be so kind to get them reproduced from your negatives. (The bigger, the better) Please.
Once again thankyou for posting such rare material.
Thanks for the link Payso

Yes, I will put pen to paper at some point, great memories as it came from meeting Ron Dennis at Goodwood and asking if he would allow me to visit the factory.
I have only just found the second pic of the Black car, so the negatives will have to follow. My wife would do her nut if she knew I spent an hour searching for it today ( and I missed my 4 years old daughter's Harvest Festival!!)
My car/motorsport background is quite wide. I have raced kart for about 10 seasons (TKM and Rotaxmax), I do lots of trackdays and have run 3 Evo's, 6 Subaru's a Focus RS etc etc. My father was the Marketing Director of Gulf Oil in the 1970's so I spent a lot of time trackside in my early days with Sportscars etc. Sadly my Dad died when I was 7 and things related to Motorsport only re-started when I won a Corporate Kart event at my first ever go...(at age 18)
I have become friends with Martin Stretton who is well know in classic car racing circles, I know Christian Glazel who runs a great list of cars inc a Shelby Daytona Coupe, a GT40 and a Brabham F1 car to name but three cars (Plus the GTR of course). I have met Joaquim Fulch (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4ADBF_en-GBGB287GB288&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=joaquim+fulch&spell=1) a few times (he currently drives a host of cars inc Bernie Ecclestone Brabham BT49) and I know John Hanlon quite well who runs three ex-works Audi Quattro's (Quattro's are a passion of mine).
I spend 6 days a year at Goodwood (sometimes helping Martin Stretton) and run the Goodwood Track as often as possible (amazing) and Brands Hatch (I worked out I ran it 6 times last year!).
Goodwood is near to my home so, I have met most of the F1 guys there, many times over for many and have been able to talk to hero's like Sheen, McRae, Damon Hill, Phil Hill, Sterling Moss etc etc at the events for hours on end.

Christian ran the Brabham with Martin (Stretton) a few years ago and I spent a bit of time with him. Really nice guy, same age as me.
The funniest thing he ever said to me was "Mat, why don't you move up from karting to Formula Renault?"
I remember saying I did not have a spare £100k!
At Goodwood (last year?) I did ask for a ride to the grid in the Daytona and he looked at me as if to say ".... off". It was after Martin has broken the rear view mirror when doing practice driver changes and even though it was only a rear view mirror I think he was miffed!
My last bit of info relates to my son (age 7).... He's stolen my race budget and he will soon be talking to Mr Dennis, see pic

Seems funny that I had the F1 pics tucked away for over 10 years. I always felt the F1 production area was a special place....
I always liked this shot too

That is a cool shot - one of the few times I think I have seen an image of a complete engine that was lacking the carbon airbox on top, perhaps the only one.
Those blue body parts likely belong to chassis #048 which was completed in the middle of the run of production LMs. Here's some shots of what we believe to be that car:
