Should I sell car and lease new one??

I am currently financing a 2006 Toyota Sequoia SR5. We put 15k down and have 12k left to finance. We have a bench in the middle and can't stand it! We are looking into selling our car privately and leasing the new VW Routan. I expect to get about 20k when we sell it. Does this sounds like we are incurring a huge loss?? Thanks!!:rofl:
