Advice on replacing Rear Struts

I have never replaced struts before I noticed the right rear side of the car is lower by 1-Inch vs the the left side. I guess i need struts and springs.

I decided to buy the ready struts that are complete assembly, my question will I need a spring compressor to remove the strut and spring assembly or do I just un-bolt and remove the old assembly and install the new.

If you buy the ready struts, then all you have to do is unbolt the strut and change it out. No need to remove spring from strut, you are buying the complete assembly!

Thanks for the feed-back I wasn't sure if the spring needed to be compressed to remove the assembly from the mounting bolts. I guess I am ready to go I just need to shopp around a bit and get a fair price on the assemblies.

Just finished the job myself, so I can confirm you do not need to compress the springs. I couldn't find the complete assemblies in my area, so I had to remove the springs for mine (ugh). What kind did you find?

fyi, 21mm deep socket needed for the strut-to-knuckle nuts, 15mm for the top nuts.

As a matter of fact the flier came today and they are advertising Monroe " Quick Strut assembly from $111 each I will check if they make them for our Intrigue. Will update once I get the answer.
