05 f-150 side emblem lettering....

On the newer body style the 5.4 triton chrome badge on the sides has the black lettering peeled off on one side and partially on the other....

My truck is like 4 months over warranty so I can't get the stickers to put on for free.

Where can you get the black sticker lettering for the chrome side badges on the newer f-150s?

From the dealer or the junkyard,be care when removing if you get them from the junk yard.There is a special 2 sided tape that certain autoparts stores sell holding it on.Any auto body finish supply places will sell it too.

You can't just get the black lettering that is the sticker part inside the indents of the whole badge?

I think that's what they said the warranty would give you, just new black lettering stickers to go on the previous chrome badge.....

Probally not and you have to buy a new badge.My father did one on a dodge truck once,the backing was gone on a hood emblem and had to buy the emblem.
