Power windows not working

My son has a 1991 olds Ciera 4 door and all of a sudden the power windows do not work. I am not sure where to find out any information out for the electrical wiring of this car.

I checked the fuse that is labeled PW (I think this is the fuse for it) Is there another, like a relay some where that I should look for?

My info shows a power window circuit breaker in the fuse box. Is that what you checked? You'd also have to check that the circuit is hot, with the key on.

Turn on the key, try to operate the windows, see if the breaker is warming-up.

You might check for B+ and ground at the master switch. The master switch is in the driverside door. You need to get at the backside of the control assembly so you can access the wires. Pink wire is hot with the key on, black wire is ground.

My problems with power windows on my 91 Cutlass Cierra were always with broken wires in the door hinge area. If all the windows stop working, it's either the +12v wire or the GND wire that's broken on the driver's side door.
