How about dem boys in Black & Gold!?!?!
Okay, so they lost to the Eagles... but it was all because I didn't watch the game (stupid of me to move at the start of football season to an area no where near Pittsburgh, PA).
Not gonna lie, though... this season is gonna be ROUGH. Half the starting line is out with injuries, and we have barely gotten started. Thank goodness next week is our Bye.

That was a good game today with the Giants. Brutal! For a while I thought the Steelers were going to beat them which I was hoping for but in the end their defense pulled it off. :disappoin

Today was heartbreaking. At least (or should I say unfortunately) I got to watch it since the Titans are playing tomorrow night. I have to say... given the shit ass schedule we got this year, I really didn't expect things to go nearly as well as they have.

You wanna talk about heartbreaking? How about the 8 total points that separates my Chicago Bears from their current record (4-3) and a 7-0 Record.

I hate living out of the viewing area. :( I had to "watch" yet another game on cbs sports. It's wretched, but at least I have some idea of what's happening.
I'm honestly pleasantly surprised with the Steelers record this year. I thought for sure it would be a next-to-impossible year given the line-up they were dealt, but they are doing OK. Granted, half the team is beaten, bruised or on IR but they keep pulling it out of their butts... Mad props.

Good win!
Yeah I heard that it was a close game but turnovers killed it for the 'Boys and the Steelers took advantage of it in the last few minutes of the game. Darn Romo. :twak: Glad I didn't have time watch it. Busy up in New Mexico all day.
Other very interesting news and IMO the surprise of the day was the Giants loss to the Eagles. 20-14.

Our Father,
Who Art in Pittsburgh,
Football Be Thy Game.
Thy Kingdom Come,
5 Super Bowls Won,
On Earth as it is in Heinz Field.
Give us this Day a playoff Victory,
And forgive us our penalties,
As we defeat those who play against us.
But lead us into a victory,
And deliver us to Tampa!

Don't be to premature about the Super Bowl victory. Admittedly the Steelers looked very sharp but that was against a rookie QB. Warner is a veteran and seems to be in a groove.

No one can rightfully be called a rookie after winning not 1 but 2 post-season games. And not just any games... they beat the top-seeded Titans.
I am anxious because of the Whis's past experience with coaching the Steelers. He knows my boys inside out and upside down - it's going to be a hard fought game. I would MUCH rather have played Philly. I've been pulling for an All-PA Super Bowl for years. :(

*Sigh* When will y'all ever learn? LOL Rodgers is a force to be contended with, but the Steelers D is stronger than the Pack's. It's more about keeping THEIR points off the board than putting up a bunch.
