I may have to bite the bullet and get it because I want to eventually do the Scale Motorsport full-carbon version which would also require the p/e set. :shakehead

MSRP of $66 won't help any US customers! (LOL) And that doesn't even include the PE, which is almost necessary to have descent details, like drilled brake discs.
So, I think some kind of coupon (like 40% off at Michaels or Hobby Lobby) is a must for the US buyers.
I paid $36 (shipped from Tokyo to Houston), and I still don't think the kit is worth that much money, compared to Fujimi counterpart.

If you want the Tamiya and want to buy from a US source, try Strada Sports. It's $52.99 delivered.
He should have the Fujimi GTR's next week. The Fujimi kit is more "Tamiya" than the new Tamiya kit while being significantly less expensive.

Cool; I'll go with Fujimi's and make the SMS decals fit somehow. :evillol:

I got mine for $34 shipped from HobbyEasy (China) to Fort Worth. It actually too only 3 days! Good kit, but like others said it is not worth the sticker price.
