Window switch

My passenger window can be lowered with the window switch and occasionally the switch will work to raise the window, but not always. The drivers switch works consistently to raise or lower the passenger window. I replaced the passenger switch with the same results. Any ideas?

You might want to look at the rubber conduit that carries the wires from the front body hinge pillar to the door inner panel. GM has been know to have some problems with the wires breaking/chafing in this area, that could cause your problem, intermittent operation. Don't know if it would only affect one direction or the other, though.

The motor could also be going out... It might be easy for it to roll it down but can't roll it up. Does it act like it's struggling when it actually does go up?

No, the motor is new (six or months or so old). Doesn't struggle at all.
