Yellow haze on headlight

Hello all....once again. The left headlight lens on my car has an ugly, yellow haze on it. At first decided to buy a new lens, however, for what they cost I then decided...not. I have done some research, and some companies/people say to wet sand 600/1000/2000 sandpaper, then polish. Others claim to have the polish to which will clear up 95% of this. Can anyone please tell me the best way to clear up my lens?

Thank you in advance for your input.

3M has a kit for around 15 - 20 bucks you can get that does a good job with instructions. When you finish be sure to spray some clearcoat over your newly restored lens so you won't be doing the project over again too soon.
