my 98 sentra

hey everyone

heres my problem
i have a 98 sentra gxe (stock) 115 hp 108 ft-lbs. Torque
auto trans.
i can pull 0-60 in like 10 seconds

(anyone have similar #s with their stock 98??)


i got the car last september....... and now i am sick of its acceleration

anything i can do (cheaply -- under $200 for now) to improve its acceleration?

A cai (cold air intake) will probably give you the best results. They can be had for ~200 depending on the brand. It will also help gas mileage, and the sound it makes when you get on it is just beautiful

any perticular brand u recommend?

i was searching through and didnt really find any for 98 sentra Gxe 1.5 L

there are a lot for sentra se-r, 200sx etc (mostly 2.0 L )

.. but hardly any for gxe

if anyone here has one which works well can point me to a site ..

you might try AEM, Hotshot, Injen, Megan, etc...

The 98 Sentras are 1.6L. Anything from a B14 Nissan will fit. 95-99 Sentra and 95-98 200sx.

As for CAIs, the best is HotShot. Or you can always make a custom one.
